Diann Castleberry serves as an External Affairs Representative for AC Transit as a liaison to South Alameda County cities and communities. Diann brings more than 20 years of project and program management experience working in municipal, corporate, and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining the AC Transit team, Diann worked 4 years as a consultant with The Allen Group, LLC, assigned as the Community Relations Manager for BART Capital Projects supporting the Earthquake Safety Program Citizens’ Oversight Committee, and Warm Springs Extension Project. Additionally, she spent 3 years as Deputy Director for the Prescott-Joseph Center, a nonprofit, working to deliver high-quality support services and programs, and 14 years at the Port of Oakland working with neighboring communities to help build positive relations through strategic outreach initiatives and programming.
