Influencer marketing is a new phenomenon that’s taken over social media in the past five years. An influencer is someone who’s able to make a brand out of their lifestyle and utilize social media — predominantly YouTube and Instagram — to “influence” their followers to buy into that lifestyle.
Tillie Adelson is a lifestyle blogger for her own blog: “My Stiletto Life” and a social media influencer who splits her time between the Bay Area and Los Angeles.She has been blogging and working in social media since 2013 and has grown her following to over 60 thousand followers.Her blog began as a hobby and was rooted in her love of fashion and personal style.Over the years, it has evolved into a lifestyle brand including: travel, food, style, and more.She has worked with brands such as Lane Bryant, Coca-Cola, Honda, Wacoal, Johnnie Walker and more.
As the landscape of the digital media world shifts, she has been able to seamlessly pivot within the industry and keep her brand relevant.She has lived in NYC, Los Angeles, and San Francisco and graduated from UCLA in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Letters and Science.
